School-centred cradle to career models
School-centred cradle to career models are a local, relational approach to tackling community disadvantage.

- Nurturing families (children and parents & carers) to tackle the issues that result in negative school outcomes (e.g. absence)
- Nurturing parents and other residents to help themselves and others (e.g. as a community volunteer), increasing the capacity for community action
- Nurturing relationships with community organisers and organisations to join up existing support and add value to their work (e.g. through signposting)
We are working with the Reach Foundation to document learnings from their c2c partnership comprising close to 30 schools and trusts.
We will soon be publishing a case study evaluation of 4 cradle to career models with lessons for all schools & trusts

And we will embed the core lessons into a teacher training module that will impact on thousands of young lives
This work would not have been possible without the generous support of the Reach Foundation and Rank Foundation.
